Health and Safety at festivals

Dehydration is the biggest threat to those who attend music festivals. Drink lots of water throughout the day to stay hydrated. Fountains or free water stations are usually available. Keep up your energy level up with proper nutrition as well. You’ll probably be attending a summer festival, so make sure you are regularly reapplying sun screen to avoid that annoying burnt skin afterwards.  Eat snacks or meals at regular intervals. Beverages and meals will be available for purchase, so ensure you bring enough cash to last you the day. Establish a regrouping point with your friends somewhere on the festival grounds. This way you know where to go if you or someone else gets separated or lost in the crowd. Keep your valuables on you at all times, along with some form of official ID. If you do have any concerns, there will always be staff on hand at help offices and medical centers. Finally, avoid drugs and excessive alcohol consumption. If you do drink, always watch your drink and know what you're drinking.

Enjoy yourself, stay safe and most importantly, don't be this guy....
